Year 5 had a wonderful day, finding out about Victorian life, at the Black Country Living Museum. There. they looked in house, saw a gas show and attended the school room, where some of the adults had a telling off!

On Friday 19th June, the members of the cheerleading club were invited to Birmingham Royal Ballet to take part in the press launch for the Junior Roar initiative. whilst there, they were presented with t-shirts and pom poms and invited to dance with cheerleaders, who had visited from Jacksonville, Florida!

Once again, Pupils in years 1,2,3 and 5 thoroughly enjoyed taking part in a map skills workshop to support their learning in geography. During the workshop, pupils were taught how to read map symbols, find the directions in a compass and take part in an orienteering activity.

Year 3 visited the Birmingham Central Mosque, where they learnt about how Muslims worship Allah. They listened to the Islamic call to prayer (Adhan) and heard the stories behind how the mosque was built and how the Adhan was first composed.
