For Black History Month this year, the theme was 'Standing Firm in Power and Pride'. Each year group learnt about someone who had stood up for their beliefs and fought for equal rights. Across the school, each year group chose a style of portrait to depict their significant person to create an impressive selection of artwork.

Year 2 had a fantastic day out at Twycross Zoo! The children were excited to explore the zoo and learn all about different animals and their habitats. While walking around the zoo, they spotted many amazing animals including playful meerkats, tall giraffes, cheeky chimpanzees, and even some beautiful flamingos. It was a brilliant day full of learning, laughter, and adventure!
